Manchester City is one of the best clubs in the world. Currently experiencing the longest and worst run of results under Spanish coach Pep Guardiola. It’s not usual to see Sky Blues players drop points in games of which they are slight favourites. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n

It all started in the Carabao Cup fourth round match with a loss at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A match that was decided by two Tottenham goals in the space of 20 minutes. Although Pep Guardiola’s charges were in control of the match in terms of ball possession. The final score of 2-1 was set by visiting midfielder Matheus Nunes at the end of the first half. <\/mark><\/p>\n

First loss in the Premier League<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

After a botched Carabao Cup fourth round match against Tottenham, the first loss also came on the English Premier League<\/a> scene. Again on the away ground, at the Vitality Stadium, where Bournemouth hosted the aforementioned Manchester City. The Sky Blues once again, as in the Carabao Cup match, failed to grab the opening goal as their top scorer Antoine Semenyo sent the home side into the lead as early as the 9th minute. The second accurate shot was added again by home player namely Evanilson, who capitalised on a millimetre pass from Hungarian international Milos Kerkez. <\/mark><\/p>\n

Viktor Gyokeres a nightmare for Manchester<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim’s last game on the Sporting bench in the Champions League had a winning flavour. His men blasted the favourites from the British Isles 4-1. The hat-trick was scored by Swedish canon Viktor Gyokeres. Even when Phil Foden opened the scoring in the 4th minute, Sporting still managed to turn the game around at home. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n
